In his new role Darren will be responsible for training staff to use external software systems and internally developed systems, such as the Drivers' hand-held devices.
Before his appointment to City Link, Darren worked as a Technical Specialist for an award winning Midlands company which specialises in providing mobile website technology to Microsoft, Skype and Comic Relief amongst others. He also previously worked in the Facilities Services Sector of City Link's parent company Rentokil Initial as an IT Training and Implementation Specialist. He also held positions with Marconi and Computacentre.

Darren, who is 38, is married to Kirstie. The couple live in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham.
In his spare time he enjoys music and is a DJ. He also enjoys films, comedy and spending time with family.
