World premiere of the new F1650RA XHE-Dynamic crane

Bolstered by its strong leadership in the loader crane market, Fassi is adding a new model to its premium range – suitable for those who need a tool that is both extremely powerful and also extremely agile

The market continues to favour full-featured models with high performance. For this reason, immediately on the back of the launch of the top-of-the-range F2150RA/RAL model, Fassi Gru decided to add a new crane to its premium range, offering a notable performance when compared to other models positioned in the same lifting class.

With the F1650RA xhe-dynamic model, Fassi is offering the market a new benchmark in a segment that, in recent years, has strengthened its position thanks to the popularity of such models such as the F1500RA crane.

Not only was the F1650RA xhe-dynamic designed to satisfy the needs of those who need to carry out challenging lifting jobs, but thanks to the Prolink system the crane delivers surprising manoeuvrability in restricted or congested spaces.

Like all of the models in the xhe range, the F1650RA comes equipped with sophisticated design features that include the carbon-look protection guards to give it an appealingly sleek appearance. The crane is available in three versions with four, six and eight booms (model .24, .26 and .28) and, to expand the operating area even more, various jib options can also be chosen to meet every need.

This is a continuous rotation crane with a rich range of equipment: the innovative FX901 control system, the 7” touchscreen colour display that allows the user to see detailed information on the crane’s stabilisation and operating conditions; and the digital RCH/RCS remote control and optional new V7 remote control. Then there is the automatic control of the dynamic ADC that verifies all of the crane’s functions, maximising the movement speed based on the load and the IMC integral control, the digital brain that coordinates and manages the safety features and also provides the best operating conditions to ensure the machine’s optimal performance and control. As with all of the xhe models, there is also an advanced version of the Fassi stability system known as the FSC/SII, which takes advantage of the efficiency of an innovative angle sensor paired with the moment limiting device.

This model is making its exclusive premier appearance at Bauma 2016.
