VANfit, the UK’s fastest growing parts brand for light commercial vehicles spare parts has announced it’s to become the principle sponsor of one of this year’s British Superbikes teams, NCT VANfit Yamaha.
VANfit is the UK’s only dedicated light commercial vehicle all makes parts programme and is a joint venture between LDV and Multipart. It supplies a range of over 3,000 parts throughout the UK via its network of 95 LDV parts franchises and 80 service franchise holders.
The parts supplier is to sponsor Chesterfield-based NCT Racing’s brand new Yamaha team which includes 2006 Irish Superbikes champion Alastair Seeley and hot New Zealand prospect Hayden Fitzgerald. The newly formed VANfit Yamaha team will race for the first time in the British Superbikes (Superstock) Series 2007 which starts at Brands Hatch over Easter weekend and runs until October. The series is covered by ITV1. The team will also compete in four international road races – the TT, the Ulster GP, The North West 200 and the Scarborough Gold Cup.
Chris Williams, VANfit’s business manager, believes the sponsorship is an ideal way to increase brand awareness for the parts programme: “VANfit aims to offer all customers a fast and reliable service. We can supply parts for 90 per cent of all light commercial vehicles up to 10 years old from a bulb for a Citroen Berlingo to an alternator for the latest Ford Transit. NCT Racing brings this same professionalism to our superbikes team and we’re delighted to support them.”
Neil Haslam manages the VANfit Yamaha team. He said of the new sponsorship: “Quite simply, VANfit is enabling us all to live the dream and will also further the careers of our young riders.”
All VANfit parts are OE quality and come with a 12 month manufacturer warranty that includes labour. Ninety eight per cent of parts are stocked through VANfit’s national network or available the next day via its national distribution centre. VANfit stocks parts for all major LCV manufacturers including Ford, Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot, VW, Renault, Mercedes and Nissan.
