FAUN Zoeller (UK), leading waste management systems manufacturer, to unveil new refuse collection vehicles

FAUN Zoeller (UK), leading waste management systems manufacturer, is unveiling two new refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) to the UK market – the Narrowpress and the Mini Selectapress.

The vehicles are being officially launched at the company’s Innovation Days – a series of events being held across the country between the 15th and 25th of May.

FAUN Zoeller has the largest range of RCVs, sweepers and lift systems in Europe and will be showcasing six of its products during the tour.

Its new Narrowpress is a rear-loading RCV and is only 2.3 metres wide as opposed to the standard width 2.5 metre vehicles.

It has been specifically designed for local authorities working within inner cities as it allows greater manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

The second vehicle being launched is the Mini Selectapress which is a smaller version of the company’s popular Selectapress.

As well as being designed for inner city operations, the vehicle allows two different waste types to be collected at the same time as the body is divided along its length into two compartments either on a 70/30 or 50/50 split.

There will be demonstrations of the new vehicles throughout the events being held in Durham (15th May), Wigan (17th May), Worcester (22nd May) and Surrey (25th May).

Several other vehicles in FAUN Zoeller’s product suite including the Evopress and the Rotopress Dualpower will also be on display.

Nick Preston, commercial and marketing director from FAUN Zoeller said: "The Innovation Days give us an opportunity to get face-to-face with our clients and demonstrate what our equipment is really capable of.

"Inner city collection rounds can be tricky for larger vehicles to cope with. We have designed this new range of vehicles to give our clients more control and better manoeuvrability.

"Last year we had over 200 attendees at our events and we’re hoping that even more will join us this year so they can see how we are continuously strengthening our product range to address the problems urban collection rounds can pose."

The events are all by invitation only and as places are filling fast please contact Hannah Brewster ASAP via email at Hannah.Brewster@faun-zoeller.co.uk
