The Fortec Distribution Network is providing customers with excellent service by beating its own ambitious targets for on-time delivery, according to the latest figures.
Overall the network managed to deliver consignment on time 99.4% of the time, above its own demanding target of 99%, and performance with pre-noon deliveries also improved.
Pre-noon delivery success rates went up from 97.5% to 97.8%, with timed deliveries achieving a respectable 97.2% success rate, according to recent figures.
Neil Hodgson, Managing Director of Fortec, said: "I am delighted that our network is performing to such a high standard and that our customers are receiving a reliable and swift service.
"The Fortec Distribution Network is going from strength to strength and these results are testament to the hard work commitment and customer focus of our licensees.
"The quality of our licensees is now the best Fortec has ever had and that really shines through with these results. They are more focused commercially, more effective and professional than ever before.
"I would like to congratulate them on this achievement."
The Fortec Distribution Network has 65 independent licensees, each a highly experienced operator, across the UK who work together to transport goods in the UK and across Europe.
