Fortec Distribution Network launches new ‘Simply European’ service

Regular and scheduled departures to 24 European countries

The Fortec Distribution Network has launched a new service called ‘Simply European’ which offers daily and scheduled departures to 24 European countries, drawing on parent company GEODIS’ well-established networks.

Designed for frequent low pallet volume loads, ‘Simply European’ reaches European capitals and economic hubs using a simple tariff with no fuel or hidden surcharges. Customers can track their consignments via Fortec’s ForTrack traffic management system.

Fortec’s Premium European service offers the quickest possible transit times and places freight as priority on the next daily outbound trunk to Europe.  It is available for deliveries to 13 countries – Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

The more competitive Economy European service delivers to the same countries as well as into Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and Switzerland with scheduled departure days.

Dave Spong, General Manager Commercial, Fortec said: “We are delighted to offer our customers this extended service with our long-standing partners who all offer the same high quality standards that people associate with Fortec.

“We can offer an unrivalled service providing access across Europe with our well-established routes as a result of being part of the GEODIS group, the fourth-largest transport and logistics operator in Europe.

“In addition to enjoying the benefits of cost-efficient palletised distribution, customers also have the advantage of tracking their consignments online via the Fortec portal and the ForTrack system which gives them transparency and peace of mind.”

The service is provided through a combination of GEODIS owned networks and trusted long-term partners across of Europe.
