A year of outstanding achievements and consistent levels of service excellence among members of the Fortec Distribution Network have been rewarded in the company’s exclusive annual awards ceremony.
Devereux Developments won the prestigious Fortec Depot of the Year award which was voted for by Fortec members in recognition for overall performance throughout the year.
Mitchell Storage & Distribution based in Leicester and Team C in Norfolk each fended off stiff competition from within the 80-strong network to win awards for Commercial Excellence and Operational respectively.
These categories were judged on statistics gathered throughout the year in terms of commercial success, service levels and operational success amongst other criteria.
A fourth company, Surrey Pallets, was voted Fortec’s Newcomer of the Year by fellow network members and beat six other new Fortec members in 2014 to win the trophy.
David Spong, General Manager Commercial of Fortec, said: “Selecting and voting for our annual award winners is an unenviable task for everyone involved as the consistently high standards displayed by all our members, together with their customer-centric focus and tireless efforts to provide the best service for Fortec and fellow members are typical traits of each and every member.
“Indeed it is this approach which has continues to enable Fortec to go from strength to strength.”
Adrian Bradley, General Manager Operations continues,
“Over the years we have built Fortec into a network in which every member is focused towards the same goal and operates with the same ethos.
“In that time we have built a solid platform from which Fortec can continue to enjoy manageable growth and we look forward to further building on these excellent standards in the years to come.”
