Fraikin expand it’s rental fleet with 400 vehicle investment

Fraikin, UK contract hire, rental and fleet management solutions provider has invested heavily to acquire over 400 new commercial vehicles to replenish and expand its nationwide rental fleet.

The refreshment and expansion of the fleet has been undertaken to meet the demands of Fraikins increasing customer base and to support future company growth objectives. The rental fleet provides a broad level of vehicle variety and flexibility to cover Fraikins customer requirements ranging from 3.5 tonne vans, through the full range of rigid and curtainside rigids to tractor units and highly specialist vehicles.

Our rental fleet is often the first point of contact our customers have with us and it is important that we supply a modern, clean, reliable, and suitable vehicle for their needs".

The new vehicles comprise of 220 MAN vehicles from the TGX, TGM, TGL and TGS ranges including 7.5 tonne, 18 tonne and 26 tonne rigids and further 100 tractor units. In addition 135 Mercedes-Benz Atego 7.5 tonne rigid boxes with tailifts, 35 Iveco EuroCargo and 10 Renault Midlum boxes split across a 7.5 tonne and 18 tonne weight ranges.

The new fleet includes both dry and refrigerated vehicle derivatives as Fraikin seeks to meet market demand and utilise its extensive industry experience and operational knowledge to provide solutions to its target markets and the refrigerated transport sector.
