FTA publishes 2007 yearbook of road transport law

The Freight Transport Association has published its 2007 Yearbook of Road Transport Law – the 45th edition of this highly praised and indispensable publication. The book is written and compiled by FTA's team of transport legislation experts and constitutes essential guidance to help ensure legal compliance by commercial vehicle operators.

The Yearbook provides brief but detailed essential information designed to keep operators fully aware of all aspects of road transport legislation and other relevant areas, such as health and safety.

This edition includes, in particular, a new dedicated section on the new EU drivers' hours rules which take effect on 11 April 2007. Also, the employment law section has been updated to include details of the new rules on age discrimination.

One free copy of the FTA Yearbook of Road Transport Law is delivered to each FTA member by the end of January and additional copies are available by contacting Shopfta on 08717 11 11 11. The book is priced at £34.00 for a single copy, £27.50 for 2-5 copies, £25.75 for 6-9 copies and £23.75 for ten or more copies.
