Geotab, an industry leading telematics engineering company, today announced that the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 has recognized Geotab for its industry leading end-to-end fleet tracking solution.
Geotab’s GO7 telematics device and MyGeotab fleet management software was implemented with 800 commercial vehicles by Red Hawk Fire & Security Fleet. The implementation has resulted in a reduction of accidents by 80 percent and dramatically increased seatbelt use in their Northeast operating region. This was done by utilizing detailed driver behavior data collected by advanced Geotab GPS fleet tracking technology and fleet managers executing corrective action on an as-needed basis.
“Geotab is honored to be recognized by the supply chain industry for providing scalable, reliable and secure fleet tracking products that have real-world business benefits,” said Colin Sutherland, Vice President, Sales, Geotab. “Our customers and partners can expect us to continue to develop cutting-edge GPS tracking and safety technology to contribute to a safe driving culture.”
The submissions for the SDCE 100 were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff primarily based on: ambitiousness/scope of the project; creative application of technologies/solutions/services used; extent of the business results/impact; clarity of submission.
