Amey, one of the UK's leading support services partners, has appointed Gordon MacDonald to the role of Highways Technical Director.
Bringing over 18 years experience to his new role, MacDonald will join the consulting team working on major projects alongside the project design teams and technical leaders. His primary role will be to advise on the detailed design of highways projects and the integration of software technology.
He has previously been involved in many high-profile projects across the UK and Ireland, including the M50 widening in Dublin, and has extensive experience leading highways projects and design teams on a variety of schemes, including working in collaboration with Amey's sister company Ferrovial Agroman.
Speaking about his appointment MacDonald commented: "I am delighted to be joining such a dynamic company and adding my experience to the mix. I look forward to working with the people at Amey and being involved in some of the exciting projects we have on the horizon."
