Following the recent addition of ten new account managers, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK has announced a major new contract with brand new doll and clothing retailer, My London Girl.
With a forthcoming store launch at Westfield Shopping Centre scheduled for early September, My London Girl will use Hellmann UK as its complete freight forwarding and logistics solution, from shipping through to end-user delivery. This will include air and sea freight, eCommerce, all warehousing and picking, and direct delivery into shops.
My London Girl brings an entirely new concept to the UK high street as the first stand-alone doll boutique. With the website due to launch later in the year, the store offers girls the chance to match their dolls to their personalities via an extensive range of customised outfits and accessories.
Paul Neagle, founder of My London Girl, said:
"Opening our first UK store is a real milestone for us, and we have big plans for the future. We felt that Hellmann UK really understood our requirements, and that it offered an unbeatable combination of expertise and experience. With a prestigious client roster and a reputation for providing exemplary service, Hellmann was the natural choice to take charge of our logistical operations."
Matthew Marriot, Commercial Director at Hellmann UK, said:
'We're thrilled to be working with My London Girl, and are really looking forward to assisting the growth of the brand. My London Girl was looking for a breadth of logistical services that we felt uniquely placed to meet in terms of both quality and scale."
Michael Harper, Logistics Manager at Hellmann UK, continued:
"The new store will be a breath of fresh air for the high street, and we have no doubt that this will prove a highly productive partnership."
