Hitachi Construction Machinery launches dedicated website for Intermat

Visitors to this year’s Intermat exhibition in Paris can plan ahead with a new dedicated microsite from Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME). Available in English and French, it includes: a virtual tour of the Hitachi display area; details about the machines being exhibited, including several new Zaxis-5 models; and links to product brochures. A mobile version allows those with smartphones to access all the information they require.

HCME will exhibit a total of 24 machines at the trade show, including four from the new Zaxis-5 range: a ZX250LC-5; a ZX290LC-5; a ZX350LC-5 and a ZX470LCH-5. There will also be five mini excavators, four other Zaxis medium and three wheeled excavators, and six ZW wheel loaders.

As well as images available for download, plus specifications and benefits of the new models, the new website contains background information about HCME, latest news and Twitter updates, plus descriptions of other attractions at the Hitachi stand in Hall 6. Visitors to the microsite will also find useful travel information for the exhibition, held on 16-21 April.

"The Hitachi Intermat site is not only a valuable tool for those attending the exhibition, " says HCME General Manager International Sales Paul Burger, "but also an essential resource for people to feel like they have been at the Hitachi stand at Intermat even if they are unable to attend, with an option to contact us and a link to our online dealer locator for more information."

Intermat takes place every three years and covers 375,000m² of display space. Hitachi will be among a wide variety of exhibitors, and the display will be seen by as many as 200,000 people.
