HSS Responds to 24/7 Hire Demand
The decision by the UK's largest tool and equipment hire chain to extend the opening hours of its Hackney branch will build on the success of Heathrow – which has been successfully trading 24-hours a day for more than six years.
The move follows an increasing demand by customers for longer opening hours and underlines HSS' commitment to giving those customers a better service.
One of HSS' new Premier Centres, Hackney will be open 24 hours a day and every day of the year. The branch sales team will also be able to book round-the-clock deliveries through a transport team based on site.
“Heathrow already offers a 24/7 service and with Hackney doing the same we will now be able to cover the out-of-hours demand for tools and equipment throughout the south of England,” said HSS Southern Operations Director Steven Sutch.
“Our customers really like the fact that they can come and collect, or we can deliver, equipment when it suits them. That could be anyone from tradesmen and shop fitters working through the night or cash customers who are simply out and about.”
