The organisers of IMHX 2013 are delighted to announce that, for the first time ever, the show will feature a special area for the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA).
Commented Roger Williams, CEO of UKWA, "We are delighted that IMHX will host an UKWA 3PL Zone at the show next March. IMHX is the UK's leading intralogistics event, so it makes perfect sense for UKWA to be represented and for the UKWA 3PL Zone to showcase the wide range of products and services offered by our members."
With over 600 full members, UKWA is the country's leading trade association for the third party logistics (3PL) sector. Its membership controls some 100 million square feet of warehouse and distribution centre space across 2000 locations nationwide. The UKWA 3PL Zone, to be located in Hall 17 of IMHX - which takes place at the NEC from 19-22 March 2013 - will be centred around a hospitality area where visitors can discuss their logistics needs with UKWA members, learn more about UKWA and discover the benefits of joining the association.
"This is fantastic news for IMHX," said Rob Fisher, IMHX Event Director. "The show has always enjoyed great success in delivering high-level decision makers from blue-chip organisations such as ASDA-Walmart, BAE Systems, Brakes Group, Cadbury Kraft, Jaguar Land Rover, Ocado, Sainsbury and Tesco - to name but a few. The presence of leading 3PL companies at IMHX puts the full breadth of the supply chain under one roof, allowing logistics professionals to benefit even more from visiting the show."
