Innovate Logistics Wins Top Industry Accolade

Innovate Logistics has won the prestigious title of Best Temperature Controlled Supply Chain Company of the Year 2007 run by the Institute of Transport Management.

The company's streamlined production, total quality management approach and solid customer/supplier relationships were cited as the basis for choosing Innovate ahead of the rest, qualities which have contributed to the company's extraordinary success since its formation in 2003.

The institute also highlighted Innovate Logistics' environmental policies. By implementing environmentally friendly refrigeration systems across all its sites, using dual fuel trucks and introducing carbon neutral schemes, Innovate Logistics has clearly demonstrated the importance it places on corporate social responsibility and eco awareness throughout the organisation.

Pete Osborne, managing director of Innovate Logistics, commented: “Winning this award is a true honour. We have worked hard to implement a strategic vision that differentiates us from other logistics providers – and that had made us the leading temperature controlled logistics provider in the UK. Because building solid relationships with customers and suppliers is a top priority, we are compelled to continually strive to maintain the best service in the industry. This commitment, ingrained in each member of our team, is what has ultimately contributed to our success. It is great to be recognised for our efforts.”

Innovate Holdings comprises business operations across transport and logistics (Innovate Logistics) and commercial property development, leasing and office services (Innovate Office). Innovate employs in excess of 2,000 people across its business.
