International Paint does what it says on the tin with labeling solution from Episys

Marine and protective coatings company, International Paint, has removed the risk of errors in product labeling and ensured consistency across all label types following the implementation of a multi-language, multi-layer label system from global information technology solutions and services company, Episys, at its Houston and New Jersey divisions.

Richard Preciado VP Supply Chain Americas, Operations at International Paint, said, "The main issues and challenges we faced was the ability to effectively label all the products we supply ready for distribution. Our products must be correctly labeled at all times in order for our customer to identify the contents of cartons."

At its Marine Coatings division in Houston, International Paint is making use of the Ultimate™ AutoPrint module, to design, create content for, schedule and print labels on their own network accurately and efficiently. The second application is being used at its New Jersey site, International Paint’s yacht division, where they are using the system to print trade pack labels.
Preciado added, "This is the company wide standard for International Paint. Our label process has been automated and when a change takes place in any of the databases connected to Episys, the next label printed will reflect this change. The Episys system is allowing us to produce accurate labels eliminating the risk of errors accruing."

Peter Lewis, Marketing Director at Episys, said, "We are delighted that International Paint is benefiting from our Ultimate labeling system. We recognized the company’s requirements and worked closely with the team in order to meet its objectives. We look forward to a long relationship."
