IP Pallet Services to grow and expand

“THERE’S no doubt about it”, says Simon Fraser, Dealer Principal of Ipswich-based IP PALLET SERVICES, “the Fortec Pallet Distribution Network has opened up many new business opportunities for us, and this has led to major investment in this current period of growth and expansion”

Mr. Fraser was referring to the recent opening of a second operating centre at North Walsham. Together with the company’s existing Ipswich site, IP Pallet Services now provides same-day collections for next-day guaranteed deliveries throughout the UK, for businesses in the whole of the NR and IP post-code areas.
This business is drawn from a wide range of local commerce and industry, including much that emanates from Felixstowe.

Coinciding with the opening of the new North Walsham site, the company has taken delivery of the first of its custom-built fleet of new double-deck curtain-sided trailers. The new trailers are specifically designed for the safe and secure movement of pallets, and represent a major investment for the future.

Adds Mr. Fraser: “We are proud of our association with the Fortec Pallet Network, which enables us to provide a very high quality pallet service. We are committed to the Fortec ethos of exceeding customer expectations, for which there is never compromise on our part.”

For Fortec, Director Alan Cramley says: “Clearly, it is gratifying to know we have been able to play a significant role in helping IP Pallet Services to achieve their ongoing success and expansion. However, the highly efficient management of their operations is a valuable contribution to the smooth running and reputation of the Network as a whole, which requires a large degree of inter-dependency among our 60 Licensees.”
