One-way pallet rental specialist, IPP Logipal, has been short-listed in the packaging solution category in this year's prestigious Food Processing awards.
Now in its 25th year, the awards, dubbed as The “Oscars of the Food Industry”, recognise companies whose efforts and achievements during the past 12 months have made a significant contribution to professional excellence in the food sector.
Since its UK and Ireland launch in July 2005, IPP Logipal has quickly gained a reputation for delivering uncomplicated, customer focused, high-quality pallet and packaging solutions across the food industry.
The company's straightforward one-way trip system is an effective partnership within today's food supply chain – saving time and cost due to increased pallet quality with higher compliance that minimises potential rejection.
An impressive customer base spans a combination of food industry sectors including fruit and fresh produce, snacks, poultry, bakery, chilled meals, hot beverages, wines and spirits, fruit juice, ambient foods and dairy products.
IPP Logipal's managing director, Phil Storer, comments: “Being nominated for a Food Processing award is the icing on the cake at the end of a year that has been very successful for IPP Logipal.
“Many suppliers have come under close scrutiny from customers to provide a cost-effective service but without compromising on quality, so it's great news that our efforts have been recognised.”
The winners, as voted for by readers of Food Processing magazine, will be announced in a ceremony held at the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicester on 9th February 2009.
