IPP Logipal, the fast growing pallet rental specialist, has appointed Gary Williams as its new business development manager.
This role follows the announcement of new contract wins for IPP Logipal, including Genesis Breads and Dr. Oetker brand Onken, as the company continues to expand and target new market sectors.
Gary will be responsible for ensuring new and existing customers receive the high quality, reliable and flexible service that IPP Logipal has become known for.
His role will also entail the development of new opportunities, helping to increase market share and continue to drive the company forward as the leading European pallet provider.
Prior to joining IPP Logipal, Gary spent over 20 years in senior sales and management positions within the tyre industry.
His knowledge of the supply chain is demonstrated as director of registered charity Transaid, helping to tackle poverty in developing countries through practical transport and logistics solutions.
Leading by example, Gary took part in this year's (November 10th-19th) Transaid cycle challenge across Kenya. The 400km ride aims to raise over £90,000 to help people in the developed world benefit from safe, affordable and efficient transport.
Based at the headquarters in Coventry, Gary will report to Phil Storer, managing director of IPP Logipal.
Commenting on the appointment Phil said: "Gary's appointment is a testament to the ambitious business development plans we have successfully employed.
"Enlisting further resources on the back of recent contracts wins will ensure we maintain a tailored service to meet individual requirements, benefiting all our customers.
"Bringing his sales expertise, vision and determination to the role, Gary will be another strong asset to the management team we are building at IPP Logipal as we continue to expand our operations in the UK and Ireland."
