Isotrak vehicle tracking and transport management expands head office

With 2010 drawing to a close, leading vehicle tracking & transport management solutions company Isotrak invited customers, partners, press and industry leaders to attend a grand unveiling across two days. The event took place on the 8th and 9th December at Isotrak’s newly expanded head office in Milton Keynes where guests were given an exclusive insight into Isotrak’s success of 2010 as well as their plans for 2011 and beyond. The event was opened by Isotrak’s CEO, Gavin Whichello and included a presentation from their Sales & Marketing Director, Chief Technology Officer and Product Manager, who gave an overview of the product road map for 2011. Stewart Oades, Chairman of Isotrak’s 3iS Club and Director of the FTA, also spoke on Isotrak’s product, 3iS. Well known television personality and motoring expert, Quentin Wilson, best known for his work on Britain’s Worst Driver, Fifth Gear and Top Gear, made a guest appearance to speak about the kind of software that impacts on the environment, functionality substantially reduces the carbon footprint of some of the UK’s biggest grocery retailers and haulage companies.

Guests were treated to a tour of the brand new offices and enjoyed a champagne and canapé reception where they had the opportunity to network.

2010 has been an eventful year for Isotrak with many blue chip wins as well as recognition for environmental innovation and the company being awarded the prestigious title of Best Managed Service Provider at the IT Europa Awards, the title of Medallist at the UK IT Industry Awards last month and recently the Best Supplier of the Year at the Robert Wiseman Dairies award ceremony. The company also hired a dedicated in house PR team as well as doubling its development team, and expanded to allow for dedicated customer training facilities and the extra support staff required to deliver on both the achieved and further forecast wins in 2011. This comes as plans to open an office in San Francisco continue to crystalise and Isotrak establish a growing presence within the telematics and haulage industry in the US. The business continues to cement its status as the UK leader with in excess of 90% control of the grocery retail tracking market and 100% of all UK letters delivered using Isotrak technology, as well as growing its presence in new markets such as FMCG and Utilities & Construction.

With all of this positive growth there was no better time for Isotrak to welcome industries key players, their valued customers, partners and press alike to share in their success and help them close 2010 on a high.

Greville Coe, Sales & Marketing Director of Isotrak, comments: ‘Isotrak believes that the Telematics market is changing and that customers require more from their suppliers. Customers increasing want fully integrated, managed solutions and Isotrak is the best placed supplier in the market to achieve that "one stop shop". These events allow Isotrak to inform its customers of new technologies and partner products which enhance the Isotrak product offering and can increase the benefits to our customers’.

Quentin Willson, added: ‘Getting drivers to understand about economy, tracking their progress and getting them to change road behaviour, will affect your bottom line more than a whole car park of hybrids, EVs and eco vehicles. The culture of fuel saving begins at Isotrak.’ Quentin Willson, Motoring Journalist.
