JCB’s wide range and great service makes Hamilton’s choice easy

JCB’s extensive range of recycling and waste machines, combined with its far-reaching network of dealers, means that at family owned and operated commercial waste recycling company, Hamilton Waste, they are big fans.

The Edinburgh-based skip hire and recycling company now has a fleet of JCB Wastemaster machines, including a 560-80 Loadall, a JS20MH Materials Handler, a JS200W Materials Handler, three JS130 tracked excavators fitted with selector grabs, 436, 437 and 457 Loading Shovels and a – Forklift Truck Association safety award winning – 35D 4×4 Teletruk.

The machines are used for a variety of feeding, sorting and loading activities at Hamilton Waste’s 15 acre waste transfer station and nearby Materials Recycling Facilities.

David Hamilton, Director of Hamilton Waste said: “JCB is the only supplier with the full range of machinery we need. We’re delighted with the cost savings and efficiencies we get from the new machines. We are committed to ensuring that only the minimum amount of waste is sent to landfill and these JCB machines are designed with just that in mind.

“Local dealer Scot JCB is based very close to us, so the team there are always on hand if we want them and they offer a great service. Scott Logan is our first port of call whenever we need anything and we have a really strong relationship with him.”

Hamilton Waste works with a number of local authorities and construction companies in the Edinburgh, and East and West Lothian area.

There are now 35 JCB Wastemaster machines on offer from JCB – the largest range in the sector. Each machine is designed and built especially for use in the waste and recycling industry, including wheeled and tracked materials handlers, telehandlers and loaders.

The machines are supported by an extensive dealer network; with over 40 branches in the UK and Ireland alone, and 770 worldwide.
