Jungheinrich Event Hire ‘flies high’ with 2015 Royal International Air Tattoo

Jungheinrich Event Hire has been selected by The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises to supply rough terrain forklift and telehandler equipment for the 2015 Royal International Air Tattoo taking place at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, 17 – 19 July.

The Royal International Air Tattoo is the world’s greatest airshow, featuring 7.5 hours of flying displays from air forces around the world, including fast jets, giant transporters and historic aircraft. This year’s event will feature a spectacular mass fly-past of historic aircraft in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Adam Cafe, Event Hire Manager at Jungheinrich UK said, “It’s great to be working with such a high profile and well respected charity, and to be supplying them with first class equipment for one of the UK’s premier outdoor events. I look forward to building a long standing relationship between us.”

Andy Darrall, Ground Operations Manager for The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises said, “I am really looking forward to having such a prestigious company as Jungheinrich providing our MHE at this year’s show. We feel very confident that the quality of equipment coming our way will live up to the name of Jungheinrich and assist us in building our showground for what will hopefully be another great and exciting airshow.”

Event Hire is a fast growing part of Jungheinrich’s UK business, supplying a full range of material handling products on short-term rental contracts to the event and exhibition sector.

The company has over 4000 industrial and rough terrain forklifts, telehandlers and other plant available for short-term rental. The average age of the trucks in the Jungheinrich fleet is less than two years old.

All products are available for next day delivery nationwide and are supplied and maintained from one of Jungheinrich UK’s six regional rental locations. Over 400 service engineers around the UK are on call and ready to keep the fleet operational.

Jungheinrich Event Hire offers a ‘partnership approach’ that allows the events industry to benefit from the safest and most suitable equipment at the most cost-efficient prices.
