250 used forklift trucks from the extensive range of materials handling equipment manufactured by Jungheinrich are set to go under the ‘virtual hammer’ in a web-based online auction organised by Jungheinrich UK Ltd and the online auction specialist, Wignall Brownlow.
The 2009 annual auction will give forklift truck users and dealers the opportunity to bid for a wide range of products – including reach trucks, diesel, gas, and electric-powered counterbalanced forklifts and powered pallet trucks. Anyone who would like to register an interest in the sale simply has to visit the auctioneer’s website – www.wignallbrownlow.co.uk – where the trucks can also be viewed. The auction will close on July 9th at 16.00.
The forklifts in the auction vary in levels of re-working from ‘cleaned, serviced and painted’ machines to the fully refurbished models from Jungheinrich’s ‘Ready To Go’ collection, that have been rebuilt at the Jungheinrich Group’s specialist used truck refurbishment centre in Dresden, Germany to the very highest standards.
"Because trucks in our ‘Ready To Go’ range are rebuilt to the same high quality at the Dresden facility, the operating costs will be the same as a new model, which means that these fully refurbished models will give many years of efficient and productive service," says Neil Warren, Jungheinrich UK Ltd’s Used Equipment and Short Term Rental Director.
Jungheinrich recently doubled the capacity of its Dresden used truck refurbishment plant and the economies of scale created by this investment mean that the group is now able to offer significant cost efficiencies across its entire European used equipment fleet.
Neil Warren adds: "This is the first of a series of online auctions that we plan to hold. The web-based auction forum will enable small, medium and large fleet users, as well as, the trade to pick up a quality Jungheinrich truck in all conditions from the basic cleaned, serviced and painted level to our ‘Ready To Go’ range, all at an excellent price."
Full details of all of the trucks that will feature in the sale are included in a special auction catalogue that can be downloaded entirely free of charge from www.wignallbrownlow.co.uk
In addition, prospective bidders have the option of seeing the machines for themselves by visiting Jungheinrich’s Used Equipment Showrooms around the UK where the trucks will be on display.
