BDP International (BDP), a leading, privately-held global logistics and transportation services company based in the U.S., has named Andreas Kayser to lead its operations in Germany.
Kayser, a native of Frankfurt, has responsibility for all aspects of the company’s operations in Germany, including profitability, personnel, customer service and branch offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart.
BDP has approximately 100 employees in Germany. Its service portfolio comprises a range of import and export logistics and multimodal transportation management services. These include project logistics; value-added competencies including logistics process analysis and improvement solutions; and international purchase order execution visibility and performance metrics through the BDP Smart® suite of web-based applications.
“Andreas brings to BDP and our customers nearly 15 years of proven leadership experience in the international logistics industry,” said Claus Freydag, BDP regional director for northern Europe. “His expertise in the world of supply chains speaks for itself, and will help to solidify our presence in Germany to help our customers grow.”
Throughout the course of his career, Kayser has held various managerial positions with international freight forwarding companies, developing new business opportunities for clients. Prior to joining BDP, he was Southwest Germany regional manager for Röhlig Logistics GmbH & Co. KG in Frankfurt.
