As of October 1, 2010, Kuehne + Nagel has appointed John Hextall as President of its North America Region. Hextall succeeds Rolf Altorfer, who steps
down at his own request, and who will continue to serve Kuehne + Nagel in several key strategic project roles.
Reinhard Lange, CEO of Kuehne + Nagel International AG, said: "I am

John Hextall said: "I am excited to join Kuehne + Nagel and to be part of
its skilled North American logistics team. We will continue to drive
expansion through a variety of customer-focused programs under the
company’s strategic growth plan."
He joins Kuehne + Nagel after 17 years with UTi Worldwide Inc., most
recently as Executive Vice President and President, Freight Forwarding,
from 2008 to January 2010. While at UTi, he held various executive
positions with responsibility for Asia Pacific, Greater China, Europe,
Middle East, North Africa and the Americas regions. He holds a Bachelor
of Science Combined Honors degree in transport planning and operations
from Aston University, Birmingham, U.K.
