With the opening of a first office in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Kuehne + Nagel extends its network in the Caribbean.
Over the last two decades the Dominican Republic developed into one of the fastest growing economies in Latin America. We are confident that under the stable economic conditions we will quickly expand” said Eduardo Steigerwald, Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel in the Caribbean, Central America and Venezuela, at the official inauguration.
“The strong free zones incentives in combination with various trade agreements in place make the Dominican Republic an interesting market. For the constantly growing number of internationally companies operating on the island, it is our goal to make Kuehne + Nagel the logistics provider of choice”, added Reto Malfatti, President of Kuehne + Nagel in South & Central America.
