Latest lifts on show at RWM

Visitors to Europe’s premier exhibition for resource management professionals will have the opportunity for a close-up look at one of the latest products from the UK’s leading supplier of heavy-duty lifting solutions.

Alongside examples of its acclaimed cable-free column lifts, TOTALKARE will be showcasing its galvanised 25T Washbay Fixed Post Lift on Stand 5T100-W101 at the RWM Exhibition (September 15–17).

Ideal for lifting refuse vehicles of all sizes, the TOTALKARE range offers the perfect solution for both private and public sector workshops where efficiency, safety and reliability are key considerations.

James Radford, the company’s Sales and Marketing Director, explained: “Our cable-free lifts provide a lifting capacity of 7,500kg and are suitable for handling many types of vehicles – from refuse vehicles, HGVs through to buses and coaches.

“They are widely used by many operators of refuse vehicles, and RWM will give us the opportunity to showcase them to the wider industry.

“At the same time we will be showcasing our range of galvanised fixed post lifts which can be installed outdoors or in very wet environments where trucks are cleaned without compromising on reliability, longevity or performance.”

Designed for use in wash bays, the model on show will feature galvanised platforms and access ramps and is available in a range of platform lengths from seven to 18m. Both floor and recessed installation options are available, together with capacities of between 25 and 33T.

Meanwhile the ever-popular S6CFcable-free lifts on show at the NEC in Birmingham are typically used as a set of six on multi-axle vehicles to distribute the load evenly. The lack of cables reduces the risk of trips and falls, and reduces risk of accidental damage that can increase operating costs.

Like the fixed post lift on show, they are also backed by unrivalled after-sales care, which has been extending to include full service and maintenance contracts and, most recently, packages that cover Reports of Thorough Examination legislation.

James added: “As well as getting a close-up look at our lifts, visitors to the TOTALKARE stand can talk to our expert team about the benefits and cost savings of signing up for a comprehensive lifting solution for their workshop.

“Earlier in the year we changed our name from SOMERSTOTALKARE to better reflect the range of services we now offer, and both existing and potential customers are welcome to come and talk to us about our new-look operation.”
