Leuze Electronics range of miniature optical sensor brochure now available on line

The height of a 20p coin, Leuze electronic’s range of miniature optical sensors offer ranges of up to 2 metres from a tiny package.

The brochure which is available online as a page-turning virtual book as well as a downloadable pdf or of course on paper, details the 33 sensors available in the range. It illustrates, with application examples the three sensor types offered which are through-beam photoelectric, retro-reflective photoelectric and diffuse reflection light scanners.

Called the ‘2 Series’ these sensors are designed for use in confined spaces, but are powerful, providing high performance from their small, homogenous and highly visible light spot, which is generated by a pin-point LED.

Designed for the industrial world, they feature powerful fault suppression to prevent interference from neighbouring sensors, an IP67 rated body with metal mounting bushes and PNP/ NPN outputs, with light/ dark switching.

Innovation that saves time and money from Leuze electronic – ‘the sensor people’.

This brochure like all of Leuze electronic’s catalogues and brochures is available online at as a virtual page-turning brochure, or as a PDF via download or e-mail and of course on paper.

A summary of features for each of the parts is:

Sensors the size of a 20 pence piece.

Ranges of up to 2m.

IP67 body with M3 mounting holes.
