LINPAC Allibert to showcase products and services at Food and Drink Logistics Show

LINPAC Allibert, global expert in plastic returnable transit packaging for the food, retail, distribution and manufacturing sectors, will be showcasing the products and services it has developed to drive efficiencies in the supply chain at this year’s Food and Drink Logistics Show at the NEC, Birmingham, February 27th to March 1st.

The company, which manufactures plastic returnable containers for supermarkets and grocery and retail distribution in the UK and Europe, has invested in new products and services designed to minimise carbon footprint and optimise supply chain efficiency.

LINPAC Allibert is the first organisation in the transit packaging and supply chain solution sector to have the full life cycle carbon footprint of a specific product determined and independently verified by a recognised certification body, Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.

This work has swiftly followed the development of sophisticated asset management systems designed to keep fleet sizes to a minimum and optimise their performance. It has also led to the development of a software toolkit that can help to calculate the footprint figure for key supply chains and give them an accurate carbon saving comparison against cardboard.

Visitors to the LINPAC Allibert stand will also be able to find out about its one-touch merchandising solution, the new lidded Maxipac, as well as the updated Maxinest tray which is perfect for automated warehouses. They will also be able to learn more about the latest developments in RFID technology, which are helping LINPAC Allibert’s customers to minimise losses in their grocery distribution by tracking thousands of containers in pooled networks.

Danilo Oliynik, commercial director at LINPAC Allibert, explained: "Our business is devoted to helping customers achieve efficiency savings and optimise the performance in their supply chains. As specialists in the retail and grocery distribution sector we have been able to establish best practice which has enabled even the most demanding customer to make cost savings without compromising on the quality and reliability of its distribution network."
