Four Seasons Control has implemented an innovative live tracking system for its UK-wide air conditioning installation and service operation serving customers such as WH Smith, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Costa Coffee and The Carphone Warehouse. The Masternaut Three X web-based system provides total visibility of the Four Seasons Control van fleet and engineering teams, enabling enhanced levels of customer response, and saving about 10 per cent in fleet operational costs through reduced road miles and delivering highly accurate data for calculating payroll.
"The Masternaut system gives us a nationwide view of our entire operation. It aids with planning our installation and service routes, reducing travel distances and lowering our carbon footprint. It allows us to see precisely where our engineering teams are at any time. This has improved our responsiveness by allowing us to send the nearest available engineer to customers sites. This not only helps to keep our customers happy with our service levels, it also reduces our road miles and fuel usage," says Chris Hedges, Four Seasons Control.
The web-based Masternaut Three X system live monitors home-based engineers as they travel to and from customer sites, providing real time information on their activities. Four Seasons Control can monitor the activity on PCs as well as on PDAs used by the management team when they are away from the office. This also improves the safety of mobile staff and security of the vehicles and their contents. In addition, the information provides highly accurate working hours information for payroll purposes.
Four Seasons Control Ltd is part of the Four Seasons Group a national air conditioning and building services group.
