Logistics Link Live a finalist in exhibition awards

Logistics Link Live has won a place in the finals of the 2009 Exhibition News Awards in the “Most Impressive Visitor Experience” category.

Centaur Exhibitions teamed up with leading warehouse property developer Gazeley to organise the UK's first logistics exhibition to be held in a warehouse. The Logistics Link Live exhibition was moved to the Solar Warehouse at Magna Park – Britain's first and Europe's largest dedicated distribution park – to allow exhibitors give live demonstrations of their supply chain products and services in their natural environment. This gave visitors the most realistic opportunity possible to evaluate properly the products and services they came to see.

The exhibition proved to be a great success, with a 20% increase in visitors and 66% of exhibitors re-booking for the 2009 show in what remain very tough market conditions. 80% of the visitors say they are likely to visit again this year when Logistics Link Live 2009 takes place at Magna Park on 13 and 14 May.

The Logistics Link Live team expressed its thanks to the exhibitors, visitors, and Gazeley for their involvement in setting a new benchmark for the industry.
