Meet the new CILT(UK) President Richard Brown at his Inauguration Lunch. CILT (UK) President's Inauguration Lunch. 9 May 2008, 12:30 Hotel Russell, Russell Square, London
Eurostar CEO Richard Brown CBE FCILT will be taking up the Presidency of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) on 9th May 2008. His term of office will commence with an Inauguration Lunch to be attended by senior figures from the transport and logistics profession.
This is truly a unique event not to be missed and provides a great opportunity to network with colleagues, industry leaders and potential customers. There will also be an address from our guest speaker, Steven Norris, Chairman, Jarvis plc.
During his period of office Richard is keen to highlight the issues of climate change and the need for the transport and logistics industry to play its full part in tackling this huge challenge – both by raising the level of priority given to it and highlighting the extensive amount of good work that is already being done.
Coming hard on the heels of his recent success launching Eurostar services from the magnificent St Pancras International his Presidency represents an altogether different challenge.
Steven Norris has been sitting on a Conservative Party Think Tank – Quality of Life – looking at amongst other things, climate change, and he will be giving us a flavour of the current political thinking.
A ticket for the event is £90.00 + VAT per person with tables for 10 at £750.00 + VAT which includes a champagne reception followed by a three-course lunch with wine.
