Opening its doors for business for the first time on September 15, 2015, coinciding with the first day of RWM 2015, brand new company MAC’s Truck Rental is making its debut at the three-day exhibition at the NEC with an impressive three vehicle display. MAC’s Truck Rental will be exhibiting a selection of the latest Euro VI, WVTA approved bodied trucks from its dedicated commercial vehicle truck rental fleet, all of which are ideally suited to the heavy demands of waste and recycling industry.
At RWM this year MAC’s Truck Rental will be featuring a DAF L220 Euro VI 18tonne rigid chassis that is specified with a popular and versatile VDL skip loader body, together with the new VDL sheeting system. Alongside this brand new skip vehicle will be a Scania P410 Euro VI 8×4 rigid chassis that features a VDL hook lifter body and sheeting system.
Dutch manufactured VDL bodywork has been specified by MAC’s Truck Rental as the main body option for all of the skip loader and hook lift trucks available in its nationwide rental fleet.
Completing the three vehicle line-up will be another Scania P410 Euro VI 8×4 rigid, with this vehicle featuring a MAC’s Trucks’ designed cheese wedge body and a cab mounted Fassi crane.
As part of the MAC’s Truck Sales organisation, the long established family company based in Huddersfield, MAC’s Truck Rental has recently invested over £10 million in brand-new vehicles as part of its 2015 launch programme, promising immediate availability of vehicles for short, medium and long term rental customers.
With the backing of its long established and successful parent company, MAC’s Truck Rental focusses on specialist vehicle types in its nationwide fleet, including skip vehicles, hook loaders, crane mounted trucks, beaver tail/cheese wedge rigids, as well as tipper trucks and tipper grab trucks, with DAF, Volvo and Scania being the predominant vehicle marques in the truck rental range.
MAC’s Truck Rental brings a new and dynamic approach to this waste and recycling market by offering customers the benefit of immediate availability of specialised vehicle types that would normally have long production lead times, if they were being purchased outright.
By committing to a significant investment in new vehicles, Mac’s Truck Rental is able to offer its customers vehicles literally off-the-shelf, with all of them being brand-new Euro VI models, supplied with full manufacturer’s warranty covering the chassis and the body, and backed by nationwide after-care.
