The company behind Parceline and Interlink Express, GeoPost UK, has been supplied with a number of Caljan Rite-Hite products, to assist the operation of its West Midlands hub.
GeoPost is owned by La Poste, the second largest postal operation in Europe, and is one of Caljan Rite-Hite's longest standing customers. GeoPost's latest investment covered both loading bay and conveyor equipment. For the loading and unloading of trailers the company bought
29 roller loaders and 32 belt conveyors. To analyse the number, weight and volume of parcels being loaded, GeoPost also bought one Cap Track analyser.
Cap Track is a modular data capture system for scanning, measuring and documenting parcels. Parcels are weighed and measured, and a destination code and parcel ID is captured. This information is stored and used to invoice the parcels.
Advanced automation and improved working conditions for operators are amongst the benefits these products have brought to GeoPost. Mark Wilkes, General Manager, Engineering & Premises at GeoPost UK explains further:
“Caljan Rite-Hite continues to prove itself against all competition with its excellent reliability and support service. These latest products are of superb quality, contributing to productivity and improved efficiency for loading and unloading trailers, and at our depots.”
