ABPmer has successfully completed a re-certification and transition audit of its Quality Management System (QMS) to the updated ISO 9001:2008 standard, following an off site documentation review and an on site audit of the implementation of the System.
ABPmer has been delivering its environmental consultancy and research services under an ISO certified quality management system since 2004. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for the quality management of a business, which prescribes a systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of the business’ customers are met.
Nick Kitson, Head of Operations at ABPmer explains ‘We are delighted, not only to have re-certified our QMS for a further three years until November 2013, but to have successfully transitioned from the ISO 9001:2000 to the revised 2008 standard. Maintaining our certification is a visible, recognized and independently assessed re-assurance to our clients that we have a commitment to high standards of service and to a process of continual improvement in our systems and procedures for delivering their requirements’.
