Masternaut Three X celebrates after success at Fleet Hero Awards

Leeds, UK, October 2008 – Masternaut Three X is celebrating success at the Fleet Hero Awards 2008. The UK's leading vehicle tracking company was runner up to BMW in the fiercely contested industry supplier category for its CO2 reducing GreenerFleet solution. Fleet and fuel management company Arval who are part of the multinational BNP Paribas took third place. Organised by the Energy Saving Trust in partnership with Fleet News, The Guardian and The Observer, the awards recognise heroic leadership in reducing the environmental impact of vehicle fleets.

“We are proud to win second place to such a prestigious company as BMW. Our runners up award is in recognition of the huge difference that our GreenerFleet solution is having on our customers' operations. By significantly reducing their environmental impact, while boosting their efficiencies and enabling them to deliver better service to their customers, we are supplying a real world solution to C02 emissions. The improvements are instant, across the board and range from improved fleet management at the routing and scheduling level right down to monitoring and encouraging better driving among individual drivers,” said Martin Port, Managing Director, Masternaut Three X.

Masternaut Three X is an innovative Internet vehicle tracking, mobile worker solutions and hosted business systems company. The company's Greenerfleet solution is an advanced system for environmental management of vehicle fleets, enabling companies to gain live information about each vehicle, its driver and its location. The system includes tools for precise real-world measurement of the carbon footprints of individual vehicles.

Greenerfleet also provides Driver League Tables that highlight the performance of each driver and vehicle within the fleet, encouraging competition as each member of the fleet's team strive to improve their driving performances. In addition, GreenerFleet also includes a breakthrough fuel card data upload facility. This allows management of the data, with fraud detection and accurate miles-per-gallon calculations.

The company creates, delivers and supports end-to-end solutions, including back office systems for finance and CRM, mobile worker solutions and Europe's leading telematics systems delivering vehicle tracking and activity reporting to more than 100,000 subscribers across the UK and Ireland.
