MIQ Logistics has embarked on a recruitment drive following an impressive 67 percent growth over the last year, despite the difficult trading conditions.
MIQ Logistics global services director, James Clark, said: "The business has undergone a number of radical changes throughout the last year following the sale of the company by YRC Worldwide Inc. to Austin Ventures. Now, trading as MIQ Logistics, we have a strong investment base, which has allowed us to expand our service offerings and further develop our global network."
In order to support the company’s ambitious growth plans for 2011 and beyond, MIQ is looking to strengthen its team of logistics professionals across the UK and Europe.
Clark continued: "We currently have a number of roles for senior management, business development professionals and distribution specialists and are always interested to hear from anyone with a strong sales and customer service background."
Throughout 2011 MIQ logistics will look to further expand its operations in a number of sectors including mining, project logistics and retail; an industry in which it has gained a wealth of experience with existing customers including high street brands Ben Sherman, Oakley and GANT.
