Misumi Europa factory automation expand range of hydraulic and pneumatic manifold blocks

MISUMI Europa GmbH, based in Schwalbach, Germany, has expanded its range of hydraulic and pneumatic manifold blocks to include a new thread design. The Japanese company, specialised in standard, purchased and custom-made parts, provides details of all new models in a brochure, available as a supplement to the main catalogue.

In particular, the brochure introduces G-manifolds, manifold blocks with the new 'G' type designation that are compatible with ISO 228 parallel threads (ISO 228: Pipe threads where pressure-tight joints are not made on the threads). The new cylindrical pipe thread allows a non-sealing connection to be made when used with sealing components such as O-rings. Delivery times for this new product group are in line with those of known distributors supplying conical threads. These conical threads are still included in the main catalogue and can be ordered in the usual way.

What makes the MISUMI range unique is the choice of materials available: normally, diverse designs would be made of plastic and MISUMI's range does, indeed, include a number of such products. But the focus is on manifold blocks made from metal, as there is a specific demand for these from users.

With these new products, MISUMI supplies a complete range of threads, delivered quickly and in a broad range of geometries, including National Pipe Taper (NPT) pipe threads, metric pipe threads (M), conical pipe threads (Rc) and the new group of parallel pipe threads (G).

The publication containing these new products is now available to download in PDF format (2.6 MB) from the Products section at www.misumi-europe.com, under Product information.
