WORKPLACE equipment provider Slingsby is now producing and supplying more products than ever before that are made from recycled materials as a direct result of demand from customers that are striving to reduce their carbon footprints.
The company sells more than 35,000 branded and non-branded workplace items and has a plastic moulding facility on-site which produces a wide range of products, from storage containers through to plastic pallets and grit bins.
Lee Wright, Marketing Director of Slingsby, says: "Nowadays nearly all organisations and businesses, regardless of size, are considering their environmental impact and introducing Corporate Social Responsibility policies because they recognise that it can give them the edge over the competition during a potential customer’s decision making process.
"In the last five years we have seen a big increase in the number of businesses and organisations that are specifically asking for products that are made using recycled products."
Lee adds: "This led to us introducing our own range of remoulded products and we are now inundated with orders for them. As a result of this we are continually adding new products to our range that are made from recycled materials and we are confident that these will continue growing in popularity over the coming years."
