More than two-thirds of brands exemplifying supply chain leadership use RedPrairie

RedPrairie Customers Dominate Gartner 2012 Supply ChainRedPrairie Corporation, a global supply chain and retail technology provider, has announced that 16 of the 25 brands ranked in Gartner's recently published 2012 Supply Chain Top 25 are optimising their supply chains using RedPrairie solutions. Among the 16 are Cummins, Procter & Gamble and Unilever, recognised by Gartner as the companies that best demonstrate leadership in applying demand-driven principles to drive business results.

Gartner analysts selected the top 25 companies from more than 298 companies assessed. According to Gartner, the Supply Chain Top 25 rankings comprise two main components: financial and opinion. Public financial data gives a view into how companies have performed in the past, while the opinion component provides an eye to future potential and reflects future expected leadership, a crucial characteristic. These two components are combined into a total composite score.

"It is great validation that more than two-thirds of the organisations that comprise the Supply Chain Top 25 rely on RedPrairie to ensure the robustness of supply chain operations, the very backbone of their businesses," said Mike Mayoras, RedPrairie CEO. "RedPrairie provides solutions that help our customers be market leaders in their industries and around the globe."

The latest RedPrairie product suite, recently announced in May, connects supply chain execution capabilities to the store and commerce sites so that retailers, manufacturers and distributors can achieve the greatest visibility and accuracy.
