· Manitou is maintaining its leadership as a builder of rotatives with the new MRT 3255 – 32 meters and 5.5 tonnes
· MHT 1490: European launch of the heavyweight telescopic truck
· Present at the Days of Lifting in Marseille
· A committed and responsible manufacturer through its REDUCE program.
From 29 to 31 October next, Manitou Group will be participating in the JDL (Days of Lifting) in Marseille. For the first time, the leader in all-terrain materials handling will present its new rotative telescopic truck, the MRT3255, during this show devoted to professionals in lifting, materials handling, port handling and exceptional transport.
It is also the occasion for the Europe-wide launch of the new heavy telescopic truck, the MHT 1490 (14 meters, 9 tonnes), previewed at Conexpo (Las Vegas – United States) last February.
The last few years have seen customer demand develop towards more hiring and easier use, without any loss of quality, performance or safety.
This is a challenge that the Manitou brand has met, displaying the MRT 3255, which has a working height of 32 meters and a nominal capacity of 5.5 tonnes.
"As capital equipment that is essential on work sites, our machines contribute to the profitability of construction professionals, whether small or large", says Denis Ruf, Salesmanager for France. "In a complex and volatile economic context, we lack visibility. Our presence at professional exhibitions of this type lets us directly talk to our clients and take the time to discuss their requirements for material handling solutions. The MRT 3255 is an innovative solution to their requirements."
The Manitou group is committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) process based on three areas for improvement: products and services, women and men, and suppliers. "In each of the sustainability programs that we carry out, we aim to provide benefit for the customer. An example of this approach is the REDUCE program", says Michel Denis, Chief Executive of the Manitou group. "We want to provide our customers with reliable, clear and transparent information on the real consumption data for our machines." This comparative information on the products goes beyond the communication that is usually made in the sector, which is based on data relative to reducing consumption. A REDUCE application is available on reduce.manitou.com.
