Multi-National logistics firm delivers £1m fleet investment

In the last year alone, one of the UK’s leading multi-modal and logistics organisations has ploughed over £1 million into vehicles to support its continued growth. Kingscote Rojay Ltd (KRL), a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, has invested in a mixture of 18-tonne, 12-tonne and 7.5-tonne vehicles, which are all Euro 6 compliant and meet the latest emission requirements. The company has also invested in four Scania 44-tonne tractor units to support its fleet.

KRL has been successfully trading for over 25 years and provides a range of logistics services including air and sea freight, import and export, warehouse, logistics, pick and pack, UK transportation and European distribution.

The company, which runs Palletways services from depots in Frome and Telford, joined the network in 2013, enabling existing and new clients to benefit from industry-leading technology and high-quality logistics services into UK and Europe.

Andy Mead, UK Transport Director at KRL said: “Our mission is to satisfy the international freight and supply chain needs of our clients, so it’s incredibly important to invest in market-leading equipment and infrastructure that can supports our drivers and offers the best service for our customers.

“It’s an exciting time for KRL and we believe this recent investment sends out a strong signal to the marketplace about our capabilities which we believe are unparalleled amongst our competitors.”

The company’s ongoing success has recently been recognised by SME News, who awarded KRL the ‘The Best for Freight and Supply Chain award’ at their annual ceremony celebrating the best small and medium sized businesses in the UK.

KRL is one of over 115 independent transport providers that are part of the Palletways UK network. They benefit from shared expertise and resources from within the group to deliver consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before. The Palletways Group comprises 450+ depots and 20 hub operations, through which it provides collection and distribution services across 20 European countries, including the UK.
