Nanotecture Chief Executive Bill Campbell presents at Nano4Energy 2010

Nanotecture Ltd, an innovative company with patented nanoporous technologies for multiple applications such as energy storage, today announces that Chief Executive Bill Campbell will be presenting at Nano4Energy 2010. This high level conference and discussion forum, organised by the Nanotechnology Knowledge Transfer Network and held at the University of Birmingham, will feature the latest developments in nanotechnology for clean energy.

Bill’s presentation, Nanoporous Materials â€" a Major Advance in Supercapacitors will be given on Wednesday 30 June at 11.20hrs as part of the session on energy storage and conservation. Using nanoporous materials to produce supercapacitors has been shown in prototype testing to improve power and energy density by a factor of three. This significantly increases the efficiency, capacity and response time of these devices and thereby expands their applicability in the clean technology and power management sectors.

Bill Campbell, Chief Executive officer of Nanotecture commented: “I am delighted to present at Nano4Energy alongside respected speakers such as the Carbon Trust, Nissan and a number of innovative and exciting technology companies like ourselves. The common thread to all these companies is that we are striving to provide solutions and technology to improve the understanding and development of clean energy. Together, I hope that we are able to build partnerships and exchange ideas in order to bring nanotechnology to a broad range of markets, thereby addressing serious issues within the energy industry, from efficiency and cost to environmental impact.“
