Distribution Group Pall-Ex has been singled out by judges of the National Business Awards as a highly commended entry in the Midlands region Business of the Year 2007 category. The company, which specialises in the nationwide collection and delivery of small consignments of palletised freight through its network of independent haulier members, has won a large number of accolades in recent years. The “highly commended” also follows a string of successes in the National Business Awards, including highly commended for Best Use of Technology and as a finalist in the Business Innovation category.

Hilary Devey, MD of the Leicestershire-based company has also been named as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year in this year's National Business Awards for the Midlands region.
