Nationwide Crash Repair Centres (Nationwide CRC), the leading and largest, comprehensive automotive repairer in the UK, has chosen to continue its partnership with SWRnewstar following substantial success over the last nine years.
Since working together SWRnewstar has implemented a range of services, including management of dry waste (mixed recycling and general waste), hard plastic, bumpers, hazardous waste and machinery. The decision to renew the contract was made after analysing the successes for Nationwide CRC, which includes significant cost savings, increased recycling levels to over 70% and landfill diversion of over 97%.
Nationwide CRC and SWRnewstar will continue to work collaboratively to further influence change by providing best practice training across the estate. These sessions ensure the waste processes match the specific needs of the sites, enabling further savings and efficiencies.
