In the wake of sustained levels of high growth, Navman Wireless has appointed a new Major Account Manager.
Scott Hutchins has joined the company in the new role to help it supply its award-winning vehicle tracking system to a greater numbers of large clients, including local authorities, utilities and large private-sector organisations.
With a background in mobile data technologies and five years' sales experience with defence electronics group Thales, Scott is looking forward to the challenges of his new role.
"Navman Wireless's client base puts it in a strong position to weather the current economic climate and I'm excited about helping the company exploit the larger corporate opportunities that are out there," he said.
Scott's role will be dedicated to generating new business from large organisations, whose accounts are often complex due to the volumes and partnership arrangements involved.
"I'll be focused on setting up and managing complex new business, but the beauty of Navman Wireless is that the business argument for its high tech vehicle tracking system makes perfect sense, whether the client is a small operation or a corporate giant," he said.
European Vice President, Steve Blackburn, added: "With Scott joining the team we'll benefit from his professionalism and his great depth of industry knowledge.
