New Chief Executive for Bisham Consulting

Bisham Consulting has appointed Neil Middleton as its new Chief Executive, succeeding Derek Bell who will continue on the board of the company he founded 20 years ago. During Neil's twelve years as a director of Bisham Consulting, he has worked across the range of Bisham clients, which includes many leading companies such as Argos, Boots, Brammer, Bunzl, Havi Logistics, M&S, River Island and Waitrose, to help them achieve significant supply chain improvements.

Prior to joining Bisham, Neil's career has encompassed senior management roles in food manufacturing, retailing and wholesaling, including 13 years in the third party logistics (3PL) sector, working for TDG and Exel, where he was European Development Director with additional responsibility for the Management Consultancy division.

Since founding the company in 1992, Derek led Bisham Consulting as Chairman and Chief Executive to become one of the leading independent supply chain and logistics consultancies in Europe. Having handed over the baton to Neil Middleton for the next era in the company's development, Derek will remain on the Board of Directors and continue to work with the consultancy.

Commenting on his appointment, Neil Middleton said: "We have a great track record of delivering effective results on time and I am proud to be appointed to lead the team for the next phase of our development. We are expanding our work across Europe and winning much higher profile projects in outsourcing and supply chain strategy. As we expand our supply chain strategy business, we will remain true to our roots in commercial and operations management and continue to provide our clients with effective solutions that work."
