New face at Fortec

Rugby-based Fortec Pallet Distribution Network has appointed Andrew Harrison
as its new Business Relationship Manager.

Andrew will look after licensees mainly in the East of England. His role involves the recruitment of new licensees as Fortec Pallet continues to develop its existing network and to work closely with the existing licensees to help them develop their business.

Andrew was formerly the Commercial Director of Northamptonshire-based
Freightroute who is also a member of the rapidly expanding Fortec Pallet Distribution Network. He has also worked for United Carriers, NFC and TDG, and brings a wealth of experience in the distribution sector to his new role.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said: “I know from personal experience the benefits and opportunities which the Fortec Pallet network provides for its members and I am pleased to be joining the network at the gateway of an exciting expansion – there is a great opportunity for all licensees to grow their business profitably and it will be my task and challenge to support this activity to its maximum potential.”

Rod Abrahams, Managing Director, Fortec, added: “We are thrilled that Andrew has become part of the Fortec team – his knowledge and experience will strengthen an already formidable operation. We wish him every success.”

Andrew, 47, is married with three children. He relaxes by watching sport and is a keen supporter of the Leicester Tigers and Norwich City.
