The Freight Transport Association has made a number of new appointments.
Richard White has been appointed General Manager - Sales and will be responsible for all aspects of the sale of FTA membership and product services.
Julian Barker is Manager - Project and Product Development, responsible for the implementation of major new product developments including vehicle inspections, tachograph services, training and consultancy.
Jo Ingham is Manager - Strategic Policy Campaigns and will be promoting key industry campaign targets including infrastructure, image and transport policy.
At the end of December FTA's longest serving member of staff, Robin Sharp, retired after 37 years' service. During his FTA career Robin held a number of key appointments including Head of Vehicle Inspection Service, Head of Tachograph Services, Head of Health and Safety and Technical Training Manager. At the time of his retirement Robin was Head of Development.
